The World: Tokyo - Dentsu increases US presence with Attik buyout

Dentsu has bought Attik, the agency that began life as a graphic design company in the north of England and which launched the Toyota Scion in the US.

The Attik offices in New York and San Francisco will be merged into Dentsu America, while its operation in Leeds will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Dentsu Holdings USA.

The sale of Attik, which has built a reputation in digital and alternative media, will allow Dentsu's US operations to double in size.
