The World: Tokyo - Eric Einhorn to take helm of McCann Worldgroup

Eric Einhorn will succeed Max Gosling, who is retiring in February, as the regional director of McCann Worldgroup Asia-Pacific.

Einhorn will retain his position as McCann's executive vice-president and chief strategy officer, as well as adding the regional role to his responsibilities.

Einhorn, who was instrumental in McCann landing the global Intel business in 2005, will report to John Dooner, the McCann Worldgroup chairman and chief executive.

Gosling is retiring at the age of 62 after 26 years at IPG agencies. He joined McCann Japan in 1999 and took up the regional director role in 2003.
