The World: Tokyo - Fallon wins Volkswagen work after three-way pitch

The Fallon agency in Tokyo has scooped the creative assignment for all Volkswagen's above-the-line advertising in Japan.

The win follows a pitch that also involved Hakuhodo, which handles all media buying and online activity for VW, and DDB, which previously handled some product assignments and dealer work.

Fallon's relationship with VW began three years ago when it pitched for the Golf account. Since then, it has won the Jetta, Passat and Eos briefs.

The latest contest gives the agency the remaining VW models - the Polo, Beetle and Touareg.
