The World: Tokyo - LVMH reviews $60m luxury goods media business

The world's biggest luxury goods-maker, Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, is reviewing its $60 million media planning and buying account in Japan.

Universal McCann is teaming up with the incumbent on the account, Dentsu, to battle it out against a pairing of MindShare and Asatsu-DK.

The French-based manufacturer most recently reviewed its media account in Japan four years ago, when Dentsu retained the business. The agency has handled the account since 1998.

The agencies have already presented in the first round of pitches and the second stage will take place later this month.
