The World: Tokyo - MindShare nets Volvo's strategic planning business

Volvo has moved its strategic planning business out of Dentsu Y&R and into MindShare Japan without a pitch.

The move follows recent ROI consultation work that MindShare carried out on behalf of the client.

The car manufacturer used the media agency to try to find a fresh approach to its media strategy - one more in line with its business objectives in the country.

The move does not affect Hakuhodo's grip on the Volvo media buying account.
