The World: Tokyo - Mitchell lands joint executive creative role at JWT

JWT Japan has appointed Chris Mitchell to the position of joint executive creative director.

He joins the Tokyo operation from Batey/Red Cell and will work alongside the existing executive creative director, Koichi Ito.

The Australian-born Mitchell was based in Sydney as the creative director of George Patterson Bates before his four-year stint in Singapore. He has also held positions at Chiat Day\Mojo and Clemenger BBDO.

Mitchell and Ito will manage a 60-strong creative department, working on businesses including Nippon Lever, DTC, Vodafone and Suntory.
