The World: Toronto Simon becomes sole creative director for DDB

DDB Toronto has appointed Andrew Simon to the position of senior vice-president and creative director.

Simon, who was previously the vice-president, will now be the sole creative director at the agency. He formerly shared the responsibilities with William Hammond, who left the business in July this year.

David Leonard, the president of DDB Toronto, said: "Andrew is consistently producing very creative solutions for our clients based on clever, insightful thinking. His humour and passion for creativity, as well as his business acumen and commitment to results, has made him popular with staff and won over our most demanding clients."
