The World: Warsaw - Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa reviews EUR36m media

The Polish mobile operator Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa is reviewing its EUR36 million media planning and buying.

The company, which is owned by Deutsche Telekom and Vivendi Universal, said it has invited a number of media agencies to pitch, but would not disclose which shops were involved. A decision is expected within the next few weeks.

The incumbent, Optimum Media OMD, has handled the business for the past three years.

This year, OMD overtook Initiative Warsaw as Poland's top media agency by billings, but if it is not asked to repitch for Polska Telefonia Cyfrowa, it will fall back to second place.
