The World: Washington - Agencies line up for Volkswagen DM business

Following Volkswagen's appointment of Deutsch/LA as the lead creative agency on its US ad account, the car-maker is now looking for an agency to handle its £3 million direct marketing work.

Volkswagen has shortlisted DraftFCB Chicago, G2 New York and Harte-Hanks to compete for the business, with pitches taking place in December.

Crispin Porter & Bogusky is the incumbent on the account. The agency was also the incumbent on the £16 million above-the-line business before it was awarded to Deutsch/LA last month.
