World: Wellington - O'Neill quits M&C Saatchi for Whybin\TBWA

Phillip O'Neill (pictured) has been appointed as the general manager of Whybin\TBWA in New Zealand.

He joins the agency from M&C Saatchi, where he has worked for six years, the past 12 months of which as the managing director.

David Walden, the managing director of Whybin\TBWA, said: "We have been in contact with Phillip for a couple of years now because I always believed he would be a fantastic asset for our business. We are delighted that he has accepted this position with us and it gives us the opportunity to expand and strengthen our management team and provide an even greater depth at a senior account handling level."
