UK advertising group WPP Group has bought US PR firm Deen & Black for an undisclosed sum to be rolled into its Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide network
The company has also bought Minneapolis-based internet company Imaginet, which will be folded into the J Walter Thompson ad network.
Imaginet, which has previously collaborated with JWT on clients such as Goodyear, will work on developing the website of some of the agency's clients.
Imaginet was previously part of Imation Corp, which spun off the division in 1999. It is hoped Imaginet will open in other US cities this year.
