WPP poaches Euro RSCG's Daniel Morel for top Impiric role

WPP has moved swiftly to replace Jay Bingle as the worldwide chief executive of Young & Rubicam's direct marketing network Impiric.

WPP has moved swiftly to replace Jay Bingle as the worldwide chief executive of Young & Rubicam's direct marketing network Impiric.

Daniel Morel joins from Euro RSCG, where he is the chief executive of The Sales Machine, its sales promotion and direct marketing network.

Frenchman Morel has worked for most of his career in the US. He started at Ogilvy & Mather and Comptons before launching an agency. He then joined Blau Technologies. He joined The Sales Machine in 1998.

Morel has been handed the task of continuing the transition of Impiric, the world's second-largest marketing services network, from a direct marketing agency to a consultancy and customer relationship management agency.
