LONDON - Debt Free Direct, the debt advice company, has appointed WWAV Rapp Collins Media to handle its £5m media planning and buying account.

The company, which offers advice to people in debt across England and Wales, uses TV press, inserts, Teletext and radio in its media mix.

WWAV won the business from the previous incumbent ARM Direct.

Peter Mitchell, managing director of WWAV Rapp Collins Media, said: "In addition to being the market leader, Debt Free Direct takes a fresh, exciting approach to all areas of its business. That's exactly the kind of client we want to work with."
