WWF "Earth Hour 2016" by Iris

WWF is pinning its hopes on social media to spread the message of Earth Hour, when landmarks around the world shut off their lights to raise awareness of climate change.

Iris Singapore created the social campaign, which encourages Facebook users to donate their feeds at 8.30pm on 19 March to the charity and apply a filter to their profile picture to show their support of Earth Hour. Iris has also helped to create a campaign film, in which an elderly woman with a child’s voice speaks from the future, describing how the world saved itself from extinction. The work was created by Pearlyn Ong and the film was directed by Jeremy Groman through Firecracker.
