- Miller Brewing and Young & Rubicam are to part company a month after Y&R's New York office pitched and failed to win the $150 million (£90 million) Miller Lite business, which stayed with incumbent Fallon McElligott.

Y&R was eliminated from the Miller Lite review at an early stage. Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco; Square One, Dallas and Wieden & Kennedy, New York, also pitched.

Y&R currently handles Miller's Molson, Icehouse and Leinenkugels brands, which are all now likely to go into review. The three brands spent around $15 million (£9 million) last year.
