The interactive marketing agency i-traffic, part of Agency.com, has
appointed Yannis Marcou as vice-president, creative director.
Marcou joins from the web agency Hyperlink, where he was the creative
director. At i-traffic he will be in charge of the creative output from
the London office.
"We have to address the creative needs in three areas to move forward,"
Marcou said. "How we combine different digital channels, strengthen
conceptual thinking and aesthetic execution and design. Offline agencies
don't get how they can take a concept and leverage the unique strengths
of digital channels. Also, a lot of times the quality of design out
there is unacceptable."
Born in Greece and trained in the US, Marcou has worked on clients such
as Sony Music Europe, British Airways, Goldfish and Liberty.
