Bale, who joins from PHD where she was a press account director, will be responsible for maximising sponsorship opportunities and developing creative content initiatives.
Her appointment also strengthens Carat's press team following the promotion of the press director, Dominic Williams, to the role of print director across Aegis Media.
Bale will work alongside Williams, the deputy managing director, Richard Morris, and David Peters, the head of Sponsorship at Carat.
Carat managing director, Tracy De Groose, said that Bale's appointment will help it deliver "new and innovative media owner partnerships with real value to our clients".
Bale, who has previously worked for Manning Gottlieb OMD as well as ZenithOptimedia, will join the agency next month.
