Connors-Jones has a background as an art director and more recently, creative director. He has collaborated with clients such as Oxfam, BMW-Mini, Speedo, Unilever, Carlsberg and Microsoft through agencies including Harte Hanks/Strange & Dawson, St Nicks, McCann, Indicia and Oomph and across digital, advertising and experiential projects.

He has also worked client side at Dyson, and will continue to devise large-scale experiential concepts and communications projects at Avantgarde.

Alex Parsons has joined the team as account director, having begun her career in event production. She has previously worked on experiential events with brands such as Hendrick’s Gin, BMW and Perrier and will work on Avantgarde's Porsche, Npower and Align Technologies accounts.

Finally, Pippa Hancock joins the agency as account manager from RPM, where she worked her way up to the same role from its graduate scheme. She joins one of Avantgarde's three account teams, working on the likes of Samsung, Glanbia and Energizer.

Stuart Bradbury, managing partner at Avantgarde, said: "As Avantgarde continues to grow and invest in great talent I’m really pleased to welcome three new members to the London office who will be joining our creative and client servicing departments."

The agency recruited Kris Love from Brandfuel in April.
