Anyone who wants to know if FMCG companies are bringing back media spend will be watching Unilever's third quarter results closely on Thursday. The FTSE-100 company has promised to increase media spend in the second half of the year, after slashing agency fees by about 17% in the first half.
Tuesday is another key day for results as Asos, Moneysupermarket, Virgin Money and Merlin Entertainments all report to the stock market.
Meanwhile, the string of high-level departures in the UK media agency scene continues to be the hot talking point.
