I have been in Communications Planning for just over a decade. In this time, I have worked with multiple clients across an exciting range of industries including entertainment, consumer electronics, FMCG, professional services, retail, travel and automotive.
As Planning Director my role is to connect and challenge teams to deliver more effective communications for our clients. We do this through our visionary approach to planning which sees the bigger picture, challenging the brief and execution at every stage to ensure we are always helping to grow brands and accelerate performance in a digital age.
I am responsible for ensuring we retain a keen focus on actionable audience insight, innovative idea generation and agile measurement to deliver industry leading work that grows our clients' businesses.?
Over the last 18 months I have also shared responsibility in leading an Agile business transformation across MediaCom alongside our CTO, Sue Unerman.

I have 20 years’ experience in the industry, starting out as a market researcher in 1997, before moving into media planning in 2000.
I’ve been at MediaCom since 2010 and been head of strategy since 2015.
I've planned across a wide range of categories, but I have a particular interest in helping to change behaviour for a wide range of charities and public sector clients. I also have extensive experience in Retail, FMCG and Motors.
I’ve spent the last two years developing my retail experience as lead strategist on Tesco, helping them on their journey of turning their business round and returning it to growth. Areas of focus throughout my time as a strategist include planning to drive behaviour change, and brand response planning.

As Business Development Director since 2011, Jason has led the growth in revenue of ITV’s commercial teams across the UK outside London through delivering creative business solutions by working closely in partnership with advertisers and their agencies. After starting his career at Manchester Evening News, Jason went on to spend 12 years at media agencies prior to joining ITV – from media planning roles at Carat and PHD in London to running PHD North in Manchester.

Simon, has over 20 years experience working with some of the World's most iconic brands including Nokia, Kellogg's and AXA. He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of Ice Travel Group home to the UK’s leading holiday and deals comparison sites, icellolly.com. and Travelsupermarket. Formerly the Chief Marketing Officer of Virgin Atlantic, Simon has years of experience being at the forefront of creative and innovative marketing. Prior to this, Simon was Director of Media Engagement, Marketing and Audiences at the BBC where he had responsibility for the distribution of all marketing content across all platforms. Simon was also responsible for the strategic marketing and brand leadership of BBC Sport, Radio 5Live, Children’s and Learning. Prior to joining AXA he worked with international clothing company Supergroup Plc to develop the Marketing Strategy for the Superdry brand.

Nicola has worked in media for 26 years, most of which has been in digital marketing. Nicola joined MediaCom eight years ago with a wealth of digital experience and as a Digital Board Director, Nicola then became the Head of Digital and was integral to the growth of the digital proposition MediaCom offers its clients today.
Nicola is a fully accredited personal performance and corporate coach and has a keen interest in training and development. Her passion in supporting the EXCO to achieve People First, Better Results involves a focus on providing a fantastic working environment for our people with a real emphasis on creating opportunity for all.
