How consumers use reviews today

Consumers are switched on. They know how to shop around and are engaging with reviews more than ever before, to make vital purchasing decisions.

That’s why Trustpilot conducted a research study to understand how online shoppers interact with reviews. They surveyed more than 1000 customers about the importance of reading, writing and trusting online reviews. 

A total 89% of people said they read reviews at least ‘sometimes’ when they shop. Since the majority of consumers are seeking reviews to help inform their purchase decisions, Campaign in partnership with Trustpilot explore which factors consumers consider most important.
