Business Development Manager - Top Tier Law Firm
One of the leading specialist global law firms is seeking to recruit a practice wide business development manager to join their London office.
You will be expected to develop and execute clear business development strategy and business plans, and manage an aligned range of marketing and business development activities. You will be working closely with practice leaders to implement and monitor BD plans; simultaneously learning and developing the practice's knowledge and client insight.
You will work closely with both London and European teams to manage campaigns, as well as mentoring and developing junior members of staff.
The role will cover the broad spectrum of marketing and business development activities including practice & client development, writing and presenting proposals and pitches as well as key marketing and profile raising activities. You will be required to be an active people manager.
You will have 5-10 years working in a professional services firm in a business development and marketing environment - ideally at least 4 years in the legal space. You will have excellent academic credentials; and strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence, inform and educate partners and clients alike.
