Spectrum Brands is looking to recruit a UK & Ireland Shopper Marketing Executive for its Remington brand.

This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their marketing career, either as a step up from Marketing Assistant or as an existing Marketing Executive, looking to work on one of the UK’s leading Personal Care brands.

Working closely with the Shopper Marketing Manager you will be responsible for supporting the businesses marketing activity across its retailer’s stores, catalogues and websites.

  • Assist in implementing and launching key products into the UK market
  • Leading the development, through our in-house design studios, of;
  • In-store Point of Sale (POS) displays
  • Trade catalogue pages
  • Gift guides
  • Flyers
  • Website display banners and digital creative assets
  • Retailer Brand Stores
  • Advert creative for retailers
  • Organising and managing trade conferences and events
  • Organising and managing product training for key accounts
  • Manage creation of range review presentations
  • Frequent store audits to build relationships with sales consultants, implement merchandising initiatives and analyse competitor POS and promotional sites.
  • Provide support on the generation of various trade documentations e.g. maintain product spec sheets, new line forms, content forms etc.
  • Build team knowledge of shopper dynamics to understand retail strategies and competitor activity

Skills and experience

  • 1 years’ experience working within a marketing department
  • Experience of working with trade / retail marketing communications
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good creative skills
  • Advanced Word, Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, positive and creative
  • Good negotiation skills & analytical skills
  • Good attention to detail essential
  • Good time management skills essential
  • Ability to influence across all levels
