Our client a massive multimedia company with an award-winning portfolio of influential newspapers, websites and digital products including national titles and many regional news brands. They are looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join their Creative Solutions team selling to West End Agencies

You will be joining the team that brings together their editorial output with media agencies and clients, to collaboratively create strong connections between their valuable audience, content and advertiser brands. Your role is to connect their advertising customers with the mass majority audience that they best represent, entertain and inform. . Their creative approach enables them to develop tailored marketing solutions that utilise their unique National and Regional, Print and Digital portfolio of media products.

You will have  great contacts and previous experience dealing with West End Agencies to fully Account Manage a Group M agency across their portfolio to include print (national & regional), digital and creative solutions. They are looking for a self starting   Account Manager who can demonstrate through previous experience the skillset, experience and capability for the role. You will have strong & established contacts and proactive approach. Full training will of course be given in their successful on-boarding process.


  • To drive revenues across all areas of the business that you are responsible for
  • Deliver sales messages effectively to Advertisers and Agencies
  • To collaborate with and support all areas of the business to drive revenues and profitability
  • Recommend and implement best practice in running of an Agency portfolio
  • Ensure a high industry profile of your portfolio within the UK media marketplace


  • Own day to day relationship with Agencies within portfolio
  • Develop and retain revenue influencing relationships with customers, both existing and new
  • Implement Business Plans for Agencies within portfolio, which have been designed

    Along side the Group Head and the Group Account Director

  • Partner with other Account Managers across sales hubs to ensure consistency of approach

    and building of a team spirit

  • Take responsibility for own personal development, including building of a PDP and attendance

    of Power Hours


  • Highly numerate and an clear commercial thinker, able to identify and maximise revenue

    opportunities and report performance accurately

  • Organised and efficient
  • Ability to build influential relationships across agency planning/buying teams
  • A strong communicator with good presentation skills
  • High impact, engaging personality with the energy to effect change and influence outcomes
  • Effective operator, gets things done well and with good pace
