Would you like to manage the careers of the world’s most awarded creatives?

Who we are

Andy Knell is a specialist international creative headhunter, bringing together the world’s most awarded creative agencies and creative talent. With a focus on providing a high quality consultative approach to our clients and candidates, we have developed a strong and respected brand in international creative recruitment.

We work with the most renowned creative companies, supporting our clients by recruiting high calibre Copywriters, Art Directors and Creative Directors. By providing the very best talent we help the most creatively led companies to execute ground breaking and inspiring creative work for their clients.

Our worldwide client base includes the leading global agencies and networks in London, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.

Operating from our flagship office 16 mins from Kings Cross, we will be opening our second office in New York in the summer of 2017 to help support our work in the Americas.

Our Culture

We are experts within the creative recruitment sector and as such pride ourselves on maintaining the highest levels of service to candidates and clients. We do so with a positive outlook, offering a highly professional but personal approach at all times whilst having fun along the way.

We are all very passionate about what we do, and thrive on helping people to develop their careers, so everyone who works for us has the same ethos, this is why supporting others to succeed is one of our core values and is reflected in everything we do.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for creatively literate members of the communications industry, with a huge passion for the best creative work. You will excited by the opportunity of helping creatives develop their careers, whilst assisting our agency clients to enhance the talent within their creative department.

It is essential you are able to demonstrate empathy and insight for the creative agency process and creative product by having spent time working for a leading creative agency. You may still be working within the creative industry as an Account Manager or Project Manager, overseeing projects and multi-stage processes within the business. You will of course be a natural multi-tasker and exceptional communicator.

If you are already working in a creative consultant role, your billing history will be important, but Andy Knell is not a 'hardcore sales' environment as we strive to provide our clients with a highly consultative and bespoke approach, looking  beyond just their short-term recruitment needs, we support our clients and candidates over the long-term.

Being a natural networker and digital savvy individual you will see social media such as Twitter, blogs, FB and LinkedIn as essential business tools.

You will be looking to build your career as part of a small highly collaborative specialist team, so it’s essential you are a ‘people person’ who wants to learn and grow with others in a small rapidly expanding business. Given the company is now expanding your contribution will be pivotal to the continued growth and future success of the business.

A network of contacts within advertising agencies from your time working in the industry is not essential although it would be highly desirable.

The Roles

We are looking for two new members to join the team. One consultant will work with our graduate and junior level creative candidates, and one will work with our mid-senior level creative candidates.

Finding the right talent is more than just recruiting someone into a job vacancy, at Andy Knell it is about strategically managing and developing people’s careers, aligning their skills and experience with the right career opportunity.

If you are working with creatives at the start of their career, your role will include developing relationships with the top creative colleges in both the UK and internationally as well as supporting clients with their graduate internship programmes.

An element of business and talent development is involved so you will need to have experience of managing and developing others as well as strong interpersonal skills so you can build relationships and network to build business information.

What we Offer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative recruiter to build a long term career within a truly inspiring and rewarding industry. We work in a relaxed casual working environment and are an open, supportive and friendly team.

We offer a very competitive compensation package including base salary and generous performance based commission.
