The Role:

As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for marketing the portfolio of conferences and events. You will devise and implement strategies to attract delegates and sponsors, develop the conference/event brand and implement effective marketing processes. You will also have line management responsibility for a marketing executive.

Typical duties include:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategy for conferences and events
  • Develop and implement a strategy for monitoring and tracking ROI
  • Deliver targeted marketing campaigns including email, DM, social media and advertising to set budgets
  • Write engaging copy
  • Coordinate press
  • Act as brand guardian
  • Line manager a marketing executive
  • Work closely with event team, sales, sponsorship teams and member services

About You:

I'm looking for a commercially aware Marketing Manager who's ready for their next challenge. Ideally you would have at least 2 years experience in B2B event marketing from either an event/publishing company or association or within the travel industry. You will have a proven track record in delivering successful marketing campaigns against agreed revenue targets and reporting on ROI. You'll have excellent time/budget project management skills, able to communicate at all levels and will enjoy managing and mentoring an executive.
