Online Conversion Manager

We are growing the P&O Cruises digital marketing team so that we can provide a world class brand specific digital experience and are currently looking for a Conversion Manager to help support the business.
As Online Conversion Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing online conversion strategies to drive profitable revenue for our key products & trades and improvement in our online customer experience. You should be able to generate actionable insight by combining digital analytics data with a detailed understanding of online test and learn strategies. You must be able to develop successful online conversion optimisation strategies and possess powerful communication skills in order to influence at all levels of the organisation and collaborate successfully with both internal and external partners. You will have knowledge of A/B Testing, online personalisation, conversion rate optimisation and will have had experience of conversion software, such as Monetate, Adobe Test & Target, Optimizely or Maximizer.
For the Online Conversion Manager you need the following experience:
- Ability to develop the site across merchandising, trading, optimisation and customer experience to help drive e-commerce conversion and lead generation.
- Experience of improving buyer experience, maximising on-site and in-basket conversions.
- Ability to develop and optimise follow-up email communication strategy to improve cross-sell and up-sell conversion rates, as well as abandoned-basket chasing.
- Be able to support online marketing channels, including PPC, SEO, social and email.
- Develop and implement a continual improvement strategy to optimise checkout funnels and to reduce the abandoned-basket rates.
- Understand and improve user experience.
You’ll need to have strong commercial acumen, putting our guests at the heart of every decision. You’ll naturally have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills and will be considerate of other people’s perspectives. Technically, you’ll be able to analyse opinions and quickly form a decision based on sound judgement, whilst identifying trends / making recommendations based on insight. Key to your success will be your ability to identify new ways of doing things, and approach situations with an open mind, you’ll be a strong, tenacious team player and you will approach change with a positive outlook, identifying the potential opportunities presented.
