Marketing Analytics Campaign Manager

A niche financial services organisation with a lean and efficient way of servicing their customer base in the credit cards and loans market is looking to appoint a Marketing Analytics Campaign Manager.

Previous Team Leadership, skills and a sound knowledge and practical application of SAS (Base), SQL and Excel for Analysis (e.g. VBA, Vlookups, Pivot Tables).

Role responsibilities:

-Leading a team of analysts to deliver critical consumer insights and recommendations to the marketing team.

-Playing a key role in recommending effective marketing creatives, web strategy and propositions through both qualitative and quantitative insights.

-Managing and developing the direct mail, SMS and email marketing acquisition strategy and campaign selection process.

-Improving response and conversion rates to hit optimal conversion and return metrics.

-Embed the team's test and learn strategy across new online and offline channels, with the ultimate aim of driving consumer growth.

-Managing the recruitment, training and development of the campaign analytics team.

-Maximising the value from sub-channels such as PPC, SEO, display and affiliates.

-Input into the end process for web optimisation, via A/B testing and conversion funnel analysis.

-Uphold and embed an error free approach to analytics and selections through quality control procedures.

Skills and experience required:

-Ideally at least 5 years' experience in a strategic analytical role within the credit card or financial services sector.

-Educated to Degree level or similar in mathematics, statistics or physical sciences.

-An experience of successfully leading a team, including strategy, prioritisation, delegation, project management, leading and training staff.

-Commercial experience of complex analytical and statistical techniques - including cluster analysis, regression and data mining.

-An experience of using quantitative research through customer services, and exposure to using qualitative consumer research materials.

-Experience of writing complex database queries.

-Ability to explain complex trends to a non data-literate audience.

-Previous experience of delivering analytical projects and external vendor management.
