 About the Role

This is a very high profile role leading the UK B2B Channel Marketing team and you’ll set Channel Marketing vision & strategy and build a strong set of capabilities that deliver upon set strategic objectives and sell-out targets.  Key objectives include:

  • Develop channel marketing vision and strategy based on strong channel and business insight
  • Build world class channel marketing capabilities and a team able to deliver best practice channel marketing

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop channel marketing vision and strategy based on strong customer, channel, and competitor and market insight and set the Channel Marketing Agenda for B2B
  • Provide clear direction to the team, allowing them to build strong channel marketing programmes that overlay channel partners’ own life-cycle and calendar plans
  • Ensure Channel Marketing team have a cohesive six month marketing plan and a 13-week promotional calendar in place for each account
  • Build strong channel marketing capabilities with a focus on insight led planning and ROI based decision making
  • Overall responsible for spend and ROI
  • Develop channel marketing relationships with all accounts across different disciplines and levels
  • Develop and influence channel relationship building to C-suite level
  • Work with the stakeholders to ensure alignment between channel marketing and Sales, Commercial, Product Management etc.
  • Act as a real thought leader, driving change and implement new ways of working & thinking

What We’re Looking For

We're looking to appoint a forward thinking senior, strategic B2B channel marketing specialist who leads from the front in fast paced, challenging environments with experience running B2B Channel Marketing for Telco, IT or Software brands and the following;

  • B2B Telco/ IT / Software channel marketing expertise
  • Experience managing direct teams of senior marketing manager level reports
  • Commercial ability to produce business case and ROI on marketing spend
  • In depth knowledge of B2B market and key channel partners/ stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to drive change
  • Resourceful self-starter with energy and proactive ideas
  • Focus on accountability and ROI
  • Proven ability to forecast and drive business opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience across full B2B Channel Marketing mix – ATL-BTL
  • Cost control and experience managing large, complex marketing budgets
  • Analytical approach to using data and insight for ROI and market opportunity
