The company

Our client are a big figure in the media space, with a passionate sales team, our client has enjoyed being the market leader in their field and continues to lead the market.

They are a highly successful media distribution company, working with leading publishers and media owners. The Sales Manager is an essential team player and leader. The key responsibilities will include new business development and account management of existing business with distributors of their magazines!

The ideal candidate will have distribution contacts within Hospitality, Fitness, Aviation and Luxury Industry. A high level of account management and a proven sales track record is imperative. They are looking to expand their sales team in the future, so managerial experience is key.

It is essential you come from a distribution/circulation background currently!

Key Responsibilities


  • Proactive up selling, farming and cross promoting to existing accounts.
  • Searching for and developing new business to grow portfolio.
  • Researching for and contributing to sales team pitches and presentations.
  • Lead position for quotes with high profile accounts
  • Managing and developing group deal
  • Input into the decision making and management of the sector splits

Team Management:

·         Responsible for appraisals, performance reviews and general personnel administration that is required.


·         Delegate where necessary according to team members interests and strengths.


·         Ensure personal objectives and goals are set for each team member. 


·         Train and develop team members to ensure they are progressing at the rate they should be.
