The Home Office deals with some of the most important issues facing Britain and the communication directorate deals with some of the toughest communication challenges around. An opportunity has arisen for an insight executive to join the communication directorate’s insight team on a one year fixed term appointment.
The role of insight team is to:
- bring an evidence based approach to communications planning, delivery
- and evaluation provide a central hub of research, insight and strategic communications advice.
We are a team of five, with research, evaluation, behaviour change and marketing expertise from both the public and private sector. We advise on and manage a broad range of communications research including quantitative and qualitative research, web analytics, desk research, and econometrics. We use these to build audience understanding, develop and test hypotheses, and measure impact.
You will play a critical role within the team, working with an insight manager to lead communication insight and evaluation support to specific account areas as well as an ad hoc service to teams beyond communications.
This is a fascinating challenge with the opportunity to make a real difference across a variety of important issues including violence against women and girls, drugs and alcohol, crime and disorder, policing and immigration.
