One of Manchester's most sought after agencies are on the lookout for a new Account Director / Senior Account Director to join their team. This city centre agency works with leading international brands to create exceptional and eye catching advertising campaigns and experiences to bring customers and brands together.

I am looking to help recruit an Account Director / Senior Account Director that can show leadership on existing accounts as well as develop some exciting new business also.

The right candidate needs to be enthusiastic, outgoing, strategic and be ahead of the game in terms of tech an innovation, someone who goes the extra mile and thinks outside the box. I ideally a 'big thinker' someone who's ideas may seem far out there but have the experience and knowledge and determination to bring them to life.

You will also be responsible for leading the team and developing Account Managers and Account Executives, performing progress reviews and ensuring they learn and develop in their roles under your guidance.

Main Responsibilities and Activities for the Account Director

*To be the main point of contact for all clients communications whilst identifying new opportunities to help our clients grow and benefit from our full list of services
* Produce account plans for each client and demonstrate added value at all opportunities
*Work with the Operations team to develop and maintain clear and accurate budgets to
achieve pre-set goals
*Achieve personal assigned client growth and profitability goals as assigned by the
Company
* Lead pitch presentations and material/collateral
*Ensure insight is at the heart of every strategy and creative approach to maximise
benefits for our clients
*Present, alongside agency colleagues strategy and creative ideas to new and existing
Clients
*Ensure that a clear Scope of Work for each project is developed to ensure roles and
responsibilities are established with the client
* Ensure all required documentation for projects and clients alike is produced by your team
* Monitor and report the effectiveness of all work with attention

The ideal Account Director will have over 5 years experience within an integrated or branding agency and may come from a planning and insight background also. The ability to pitch and engage senior stakeholders is essential. A love of contemporary culture, Music or sport is a must, someone with there finger on the pulse that knows what engages and audience.
