The Company: Multi-channel retail distribution business

The Role: This is a great opportunity for a tenacious and driven Events & Exhibitions Coordinator to join this retail distribution business.  With responsibility for the end to end process of delivering events and exhibitions, you will support the marketing manager to ensure that all events and exhibitions run smoothly and project manage all necessary requirements.

Key responsibilities:



  • Manage exhibition stand-builders and agencies including negotiation and creative briefing

  • Coordinate staff accommodation and rota’s for the events

  • Ensure all product samples and marketing collateral are ordered and delivered

  • Manage the budget and drive budget efficiencies

  • Work with brand managers and sales teams to ensure all relevant information is gathered

  • Communication with multiple stakeholders.


The Candidate: The ideal candidate might have some previous experience of organising events and/or exhibitions from either an agency background or in-house but more importantly, will be able to demonstrate the right behaviours and personality to fit the role.  You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational and project management skills with tenacity and confidence.  Working knowledge of MS Office is essential along with a high attention to detail and a flexible approach as you will need to work weekends or late nights on occasion.  A full driving license and access to a vehicle is also essential.

As well as the salary the benefits which accompany the role are as follows; pension, healthcare, 23 days holiday plus BH.

This Events & Exhibitions role is commutable from Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby

Would also suit a recent marketing graduate with a relevant placement year.
