Our client in the education publishing/intelligence arena is looking for a permanent Group Head of Digital Marketing. The role is based at its offices near Holborn and is paying c £70k.

Group Head of Digital Marketing - Publishing - Education - £75,000 - London

Our client has a respected established brand in the UK and has set up a digital business to increase its reach and use new channels to reach teachers and schools. With a start up mentality, this fast expanding business needs expertise in digital marketing.

The Group Head of Digital Marketing will be responsible for driving high quality and relevant non-paid traffic (from SEO, social channels, content marketing, direct traffic, referral traffic and all other ways to get inbound traffic) that converts into engagement and transactions.

This person will also drive cross site traffic to deliver an optimum journey for our client's audience across all business units.

The Group Head of Digital Marketing will be expected to:

* manage the company's content strategy
* drive high quality inbound traffic across all geographies
* share best practice across business units on content, social, SEO and other organic marketing channels
* understand audience behaviour and needs; translate those into UX, product and marketing requirements
* create dashboards for reporting, inc setting KPIs; and become the go to person for organic traffic
* work closely with data, insight and UX specialists to improve the customer journey.

The successful Group Head of Digital Marketing will have a true passion for organic marketing channels, content and user experience; you will be able to show your personal contribution in those areas. You will enjoy working in collaboration with various teams, and leading projects across those teams. You will have experience of working in matrix organisations and be confident and comfortable to influence senior stakeholders.

You will have several years of experience growing organic traffic successfully; you will be a strong communicator, clear, concise and precise, able to lead, bring together and unite stakeholders with different levels of expertise and capabilities. You will be energetic, self motivated and positive, seeing solutions rather than problems. Your keep the user at the core of what you do and you deliver projects on time and on target.
