Are you a digital marketing expert with a strong background in paid search?If so, AXA PPP healthcare could have the perfect role for you. 

We’re recruiting for a Senior Paid Search Executive to join our UK Acquisition Marketing team based in Tunbridge Wells. You’ll be responsible for building on AXA PPP healthcare’s digital presence, acquiring new Individual and SME customers through the direct management of paid search campaigns and implementation of new digital initiatives.

Please note, location is not restricted to Tunbridge Wells but you will need to be based from an AXA PPP healthcare office (including Bristol) and frequent travel will be required to Tunbridge Wells.

The role

Reporting into the Digital Acquisition Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for management and growth of digital direct response marketing through the paid search channel including Google, Bing, Yahoo and Google Sponsored Promotions. You will work closely with the Digital Acquisition Marketing Manager and Head of Acquisition to develop paid search marketing strategies then take responsibility for executing, project managing, budgeting and analysing the campaigns. You’ll also collaborate with other business areas to optimise content of our website, improve customer acquisition journey and campaign performance through Conversation Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives.

Skills, knowledge and behaviour

The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the KPIs associated with paid search and broader marketing channels such as CPA, conversion and ROI. Strong mathematical ability and experience with web analytics and tracking tools will enable you to communicate these metrics to a range of audiences and business stakeholders.


  • A passion for search marketing and everything digital
  • Experience managing paid search campaigns is essential, directly interfacing with Google and other search engines
  • Google partners (or GAP) qualified
  • Experience of web analytics and strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs
  • Knowledge and experience in developing online strategies, campaign planning, forecasting and budget management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven business judgment and not afraid to challenge the status quo
