This is a unique opportunity for an Account Director to work for a full-service creative agency in London, with a holistic overview of all campaign-related activity. You will work in a trusted partnership with one of the agency’s biggest and oldest clients. Whilst the agency works globally, this role will be focused on the UK region, which is their second largest market spend.

As Account Director, you will be working for an award-winning, full-service integrated advertising agency. Supported by a top global media network, this agency works with some of the biggest brands in retail, finance, and entertainment providing services across strategy, media planning & buying and creative globally.

Due to company growth, this is a new role which sits within the agency’s media division. You will work with a team of 30+ media specialists across all forms of media: digital display, PPC, SEO, social, print, OOH and TV. The team is dynamic, proactive, and passionate about the work they do – most have been with the agency for several years.

Reporting into the business director, you will be responsible for heading up the client relationship across the UK, ensuring all campaign deliverables are in order and integrated from the channel specialist teams. You will be directly managing and mentoring a team and work closely with strategists and creative teams, for example, creative brainstorming or using emerging social media platforms to reach new audiences.

Key Requirements

  • Experience from planning and buying media with UK clients in an agency environment
  • Working knowledge of all media channels and digital channels (display/RTB, affiliates, PPC, SEO, social, mobile) as well as traditional media (TV, press, OOH)
  • Oversee all campaign activity and challenge plans coming from the channel specialists
  • Excellent organisational skills, a proactive attitude and have the ability to manage and mentor a team, as well as gravitas to influence the senior team with the delivery of solutions
  • Experience working as a senior account manager, media manager or account director in a media agency
