A new position has opened up for a Chief Marketing Officer with an established mid-cap private equity group working across a variety of sectors and disciplines.

With proven experience as equity investors and asset managers, this company has a strong reputation within the financial sector for being specifically innovative, reliable and discreet. Their ability to adapt and seek out opportunities has enabled them to expand through the toughest of markets.

With the expansion into new markets, my client is looking for a fresh perspective. As the company’s portfolio now consists of a large group of companies, they are looking for a senior marketing executive with demonstrable experience in working across a number of disciplines and sectors.

As Chief Marketing Officer, you will be fundamental to their future growth plan, working alongside the leadership team to drive the strategic development of the organisation. You will be responsible for stake holder engagement, developing new investment opportunities and the marketing oversight of communications plans for the portfolio businesses. Together with leading the group communications function and driving all internal and external communications.

Key requirements:

  • Demonstrable marketing, e-commerce, and communications experience
  • Proven track record of creating and leading strategic development of a company
  • Proven track record of managing a range of portfolios or client accounts, together with providing strategic counsel on these accounts
  • Previous experience in leading internal and external communications through senior stakeholder engagement
  • Technically savvy with senior marketing experience with a proven track record of working across a number of sectors and disciplines

Key responsibilities:

  • Create brand, marketing, e commerce and communications plans for the portfolio businesses
  • Measure and monitor performance of marketing initiatives through generating robust KPI model
  • Stakeholder engagement; driving all external communications including press relations, digital and websites
  • Lead the group communications function; providing leadership and mentoring to group business heads
  • Develop an internal communications strategy
