Senior Activation Executive - The Role
You will be responsible for planning and buying across national and regional print, radio, outdoor and digital (where relevant) for your designated clients and all the admin that accompanies this. Delivering integrated solutions for clients is very important and you will be required to work closely with your counterparts in other departments, as well as our content/sponsorship solutions department to provide fully integrated solutions to briefs.
You will be accountable for delivering market leading plans for clients with a clear rationale, taking into consideration client objectives, buying KPIs and the current market conditions.
Due to the number of clients they work across, they liaise with a number of different creative agencies. It's important that you forge close working relationships with creative agencies and ensure that they are always kept up to date on any plan developments so you will be expected to have strong communication skills.
You will also need to develop strong relationships with their contacts at mediaowners for print, radio and outdoor. Some plans will require a fast turnaround or they will need to make changes to activity at short notice, so having these relationships in place is very important.
Senior Activation Executive - Key Skills
You're smart and demonstrate an aptitude for numbers, problem solving and planning and buying schedules, but you don't live behind a computer all the time. In fact you're pretty savvy when it comes to understanding the world around you and are commercially aware.
You are an expert in PRO planning tools (Telmar, Addynamix, RBP), are able to prioritise workloads to achieve deadlines and have a passion for brands (read Trade press, follow on social networks, online etc.).
You are genuinely interested in technology developments and application in media. You are looking to develop your media knowledge and negotiating skills and are keen to understand more about the world around you - how you can use this to enhance our planning and product.
You are able to pick up new processes and technology quickly, challenge the status quo, are able to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment and are open to new ideas.
You are confident and not afraid to give an opinion. You will be expected to liaise with clients and give insightful recommendations supported by sound rationale.
