Head of Direct Marketing
Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.
The Direct Marketing team is at the forefront of fundraising during humanitarian emergency appeals. With ambitious five year growth targets, and the investment to achieve them, this is an exciting time to join the team at Unicef UK. The Head of Direct Marketing is a pivotal role that will lead the team to raise £47 million in 2017.
As Head of Direct Marketing, you will lead the strategic planning, growth and development of an innovative, sector-leading direct marketing programme. You will motivate and inspire a creative and talented team to deliver ambitious goals, and you will ensure campaigns appropriately reflect UNICEF, its aims and objectives.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have substantial direct marketing experience, as well as experience of managing large scale budgets. A supporter-centric perspective and digital innovation will be at the heart of your approach and you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, anticipating challenges before they arise. Relationship management will be a key strength of yours as you will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues inside and outside of the organisation to deliver results for children.
