Our client is a global, award winning and well established, multi-disciplinary advertising agency and are currently seeking a confident and outgoing Media Account Director to join their successful media team. Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be experienced in seeking out new clients, successfully managing and building on relationships, and knowledgeable in the media industry.

Reporting to the Director of Media, you will be involved in implementing innovative media proposals using latest industry trends and developing existing client relationships as well as introducing new business proposals and recommendations. With offices across the UK and abroad, there will be an element of travel involved with this role and so a level of flexibility and a driving license is required.
You will be negotiating with organisations of all sizes and so you must be at ease communicating with and presenting to senior contacts. You will also be extremely efficient and ensure everything that the client wants happens smoothly and quickly. You will liaise directly with the media team to ensure they are supported and that client requests/concerns are actioned and achieved.
Key responsibilities will include:
-Supporting the Director of Media in formulating the strategy for the media department in order to deliver on annual sales targets and manage the execution of media plans ensuring KPI's are devised and executed for both existing and potential clients.
-Devising and managing the execution of media plans, ensuring KPIs are set and achieved.
-Undertake and act on sector competitor analysis.
-Proactively identify and engage with potential new clients
-Maximise, evolve and lead our clients' media strategy.
-Be a senior point of contact for clients to rely on for advice and direct assistance.
-Identifying agency partners while developing strong, lasting relationships.
Essential skills and experience:
-Experience within the media industry
-Knowledge of research tools/ resources which support the media planning process
-Experience in managing media accounts of various sizes
-Successfully building and maintaining relationships (both professional and personal) with clients, suppliers, partners and colleagues
-Strong presentation skills
-Stong IT skills (powerpoint, excel, word and outlook)
-Communicating proficiently and confidently both with the client and the media team
-A track record of motivating and educating others as well as being an all-round positive individual
-Strong negotiation skills
