Leading, global brand consultancy is looking for a Design Director with strong consumer branding experience to add some significant creative value to their team.
This is an opportunity to join a high achieving, collaborative team and provide the lead on projects, working closely with clients across different sectors to develop design ideas and potential. This person will be responsible for driving forward the teams’ creative standards, realised through the quality and presentation of creative work. We need someone who is confident art directing and guiding the team to ensure that the creative brief is fully explored and developed every time. They should be able to effectively communicate creative direction, manage and delegate the work through to completion in an inclusive and inspiring way. This agency looks for a clean and clear design aesthetic and fresh thinking along side the natural ability to question and challenge design briefs in a positive and productive way.
What is agency is looking for:
- Significant consumer (FMCG) experience including (but not limited to): NPD, Animation, Packaging, Brand Extension, Revamps, Brand Architecture, Future Proofing, Shopper Marketing.
- Ability to guide collaboration with other departments (e.g.; Strategy, Implementation, Account Service and New Business).
- The ability to demonstrate creativity through efficiently conceptualising, planning, producing, refining and/or leading a diverse range of creative ideas/concepts, specialised graphic and/or illustrative material for team consideration against the set strategic brief.
- Communicates effectively verbally as well as visually, presenting design rationale during internal/external presentations/critiques. Engages with internal senior level management and external clients.
