We're working with a unique qualitative boutique consultancy who are looking for a talented qualitative researcher to join their team. The team is small and close knit, with heaps of experience between them - fantastic to learn from which provides great opportunities to grow as a researcher. They pride themselves on the excellent work they provide their clients with, and many of their projects are with the same client after that first initial one - testament to the high standard to which they work.

They're really fast paced and dynamic, and quite experimental. You get lots of exposure and get to work alongside directors that are really hands on.

They are looking for passion and proactivity as well as experience with qualitative methodologies such as focus groups, in-depth interviews and ethnography. They are also looking for someone who is client focused and has experience dealing directly with clients regularly - strong presenting skills are also a must! If you're looking to join a team with no bureaucracy and the freedom to grow as a researcher while working with exciting clients then this just might be the role for you!

You'll work on a range of projects, from helping international broadcasters with exploring how to maximise the impact of their biggest shows to providing engaging programming research and NPD. As the team are all passionate about the sectors they work in, they regularly write articles about things that are going on in the industry and are therefore looking for someone with a similar interest - you won't shy away from getting involved.


  • 2+ years qualitative research experience within an agency (moderation of focus groups essential)
  • Media/entertainment or youth research experience
  • A keen interest in media - be it TV, print or digital
