Our client is a leading global B2B technology business based in Cheshire, who are growing rapidly (currently over 700 people across 15 countries). The marketing team play a vital role in helping the business achieve their 5 year vision; as such, the business have invested in growing the function and are currently looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Manager with strong skills in multi-channel marketing communications and marketing strategy development with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
The role will be primarily UK focused, but will work alongside one of the teams out in Australia to build and ensure continued support the growing global aspirations of the business. Imperatively, candidates should be keen to progress and take on a bigger role within 2-3 years as the business grows.

Salary up to £50,000. Candidates should have strong B2B experience, it would be ideal but not essential to have experience of working within the data or technology sector.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Working alongside the Sales, Relationship and Product teams, understanding the strategic objectives of the Business Units and challenging these if necessary.
- Developing the best marketing plan to support these through multi-channel campaigns that deliver demonstrable value.
- Being the Marketing Business Partner for the specified Business Units, assisting the development of their business strategies and the translation of these into actionable marketing plans.
- Developing and executing customer, prospect and influencer marketing plans that will drive interest, conversations, leads and ultimately ROI.
- Creation of 'on-brand' marketing communications that include sales toolkits, product literature, prospect/customer emails, events, PR material, blogs and award entries to ensure that the business is always front of mind with its relevant audiences.
- Assume full responsibility for creating innovative and thought-provoking content relevant to the Business Unit and its products/propositions and support other regions with product news and content as required.
- Conducting regular research on all relevant competitors and industry bodies including regulators or other government initiatives to ensure that the team is always well briefed and our position clear.

Essential skills and experience:
- The ability to develop a strategic marketing plan to support business plans.
- A strong understanding of how marketing can demonstrate ROI.
- The ability to build and proactively manage strong relationships at all levels, particularly working with B2B sales teams.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience of delivering multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns.
- Experience of event management, from small hosted events to large exhibitions.
- Ability to translate technical products into compelling propositions and write copy for all marketing channels.

- Experience with marketing automation tools, specifically Act-On.
- Experience with content management tools, specifically Umbraco.
