Strategic, highly-accountable and ground-up marketing team leader with an established-yet-hungry international financial and consulting services firm.

A sharp, evolving and international accounting, legal and consulting service provider would like to establish a marketing team in London to drive their Financial Services business in concert with the new senior hires and the BD team. The firm's strategy is to broaden and strengthen their market position - currently spanning 30 countries - and thus would like a marketing leader with a strong commercial eye to shape the strategy alongside the UK and Global heads, and gradually implement appropriate first-class marketing activity.

Remit Overview


  • Proactively drive, develop and implement the global financial services marketing plan
  • Collaborate with the wider team to drive all the key initiatives from the global marketing strategy in the marketing plans and take the lead on key initiatives where relevant
  • Create a comprehensive suite of marketing collateral and assist in the preparation larger new business pitches and proposals
  • Identify, organise attendance and attend relevant service line conferences, events and industry associations and develop ideas for service line events
  • Build relationships with sector media, work with the service line head and other key individuals to identify PR opportunities whilst managing execution through the PR agency
  • Identify opportunities to promote Financial Services division through social media and work with the team to drive a digital agenda
  • Take ownership for the microsite and create innovative solutions to drive traffic
  • Take care of, and establish, good relationships with all suppliers, team mates and clients
  • Provide innovative ideas on how to improve the efficiency of daily tasks
  • Create the annual global service line marketing plan and budget in conjunction with service line directors


  • Take responsibility and lead the marketing for the UK business
  • Collaborate with the local MDs and directors and help drive key cross-sell and internal communication initiatives
  • Help other service lines and the wider group with their UK-based initiatives


  • Experience of a marketing manager or senior manager role in the financial or professional services industries
  • Cultural tact, and ability to form and maintain highly effective working relationships in an international environment
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation are essential
