Head of Digital - Manchester

One of our clients, a national high street brand, are currently undergoing a transition within their digital team, and require a strategic and visionary Head of Digital to lead and deliver on this digital transformation.

Who are we looking for?
*An experienced digital marketer, passionate about the digital landscape and committed to learning about new digital channels and best practice
*An excellent grasp on all areas of digital - PPC, SEO, display, social media, user experience, insights and analytics, display, email marketing and website project management
*Demonstrable experience of managing digital channels to improve cost efficiency
*Someone who can lead a team and build one - leading a team of 10+ as well as leading a recruitment strategy to build a world class digital team
*Data driven and analytical - useful for reporting purposes, and managing a 7 figure media budget.
*A proactive, motivated leader, who is driven by a challenge and operates with a solution lead approach

Role & Responsibilities:
*Analyse current resources, and make immediate improvements to the digital landscape with a short and long term plan
*Recruit and lead a team of digital experts
*Track digital campaigns versus KPIs, analysing performance data and making recommendations on efficiencies
*Drive commercial performance (both lead generation and e-commerce sales) through cost-effective digital marketing strategies

The Ideal Candidate will have:
*Solid career history in digital marketing - either agency or in-house
*Strong project management ability
*Flexibility to adapt and adjust in a fast changing environment
*Able to work under pressure and to deliver results
*Data-led and focussed for strategic decisions
*Demonstrable experience of managing multi-million pound budgets and achieving performance
*Leadership and gravitas, with excellent senior stakeholder management skills
*Passion for digital
*Excellent people management skills to inspire, drive and improve skillsets and performance
*Reasonable/Good knowledge and appreciation for SEO, PPC, Content, Display, Social Media, Email marketing, Google Analytics, Conversion Rate Optimisation, Analytics, Project Management and Website development
