Brand Director - £85k
My client is a young property re-development company, in the lush area of St. James' Park and now on the lookout for their Brand Director. Having come into being is 2015, this ambitious venture aims to create long-lasting and sustainable social and economic change. As a part of their proposition, The role will be to report into the deputy CEO who describes company as the one with creative DNA looking for someone with rigour and focus so that they are able to be disruptive and at the same time, "have a great story to tell" seamlessly.
Context: About 6 weeks ago, they were looking for someone at Brand Manager level however having met with people, they realised that someone with more gravitas and experience is better suited for the business needs at this point.
The environment is courageous, one that is conducive to creative risk taking! The culture is all about collaboration, and agile at the moment but at the same time, needs definition. The Brand Director will be an impactful leader with presence and authority and will be working closely with the board, responsible for both internal and external brand and working closely with the Marketing and the Comms leads. You will be in-charge of shaping the employer brand therefore pivotal in shaping the culture of the company.
