The role will involve a lot of new business, so you would be expected to roll your sleeves up and generate new leads, both via phone and face to face meetings. The key to achieving this is through a consultative sales method – the client wants you to listen to your prospects and come up with creative solutions for them. Maintaining these relationships and building on them will also be key to your success.

International travel will be required.

The Role
The key tasks of the International Sales Manager include:
Attracting and keeping a new client base by building and maintaining relationships
A consultative sales approach with key prospects
To develop new media packages based on client needs inc events/magazines/directories
Review and report on competitor activity

The Candidate
Key attributes of the International Sales Manager include:
Must have 4 + years sales experience within a b2b publishing environment 
Proven ability to attract new business and build relationships
Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding media sales targets
Experience of selling at all levels coupled with excellent presentation skills
A great understanding of b2b events/publishing
Must be willing to travel internationally.

The role is based in Sussex and is paying up to £40,000 + uncapped com (OTE £55,000) + benefits including healthcare.
