Client Services Director - sales promotions agency - HUGE OPPORTUNITY
This is a truly outstanding opportunity for a Client Services Director who wants a clear path to becoming Managing Director of a London based Sales Promotions agency. If you’ve ever wanted to run your own agency but don’t want to take the financial risk yourself then this opportunity could be for you.
Our client is a multi-billion dollar global sales promotions business with its head office in the US and additional offices all around the world including London.
Due to unprecedented global success in recent years our client is seeking an ambitious and level headed Client Services Director who has the drive and skills to become Managing Director for this UK sales promotions agency.
Although this group has a global presence, you would be tasked with launching this agency in the UK out of there beautiful central London office.
To begin with you will be working with the European Managing Director who will support you whilst you get off the ground. Please note though you must be a confident leader and a doer as you won’t be micro managed. You will report to the global board but this will very much be your baby so to speak so an entrepreneurial and “get things done” spirit will be required!
As this is already a very well established business with over 45 years of history in the field of Sales Promotion, as you’d expect, they have a very strong client portfolio that you will have full access to.
To be considered for this position you will already be a Client Services Director or Managing Director at an established Sales Promotions agency with ideally both large and small agency experience. This is NOT an ivory tower role. Therefore you will be expected to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, as you would with any new business venture. Therefore if you ONLY have large agency experience then the chances are this role might not suit you.
Ideally you will have worked with the sales promotions agency sector for over 10 years with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience.
You will need to have experience running a strong P&L and understand the sales promotions project cycle from start to finish.
This role would NOT suit a maverick but rather a diligent, thoughtful hands on leader who oozes gravitas and drive.
In return for your experience as a Client Services Director or Managing Director we have been given a broad salary bracket ranging between £75-120k per annum plus bonuses and benefits. The reason this is so broad is that our client doesn’t want to rule anyone out based purely on salary. However this salary bracket will be based on experience.
