Our client specialises in the property/planning sector and currently looking for a lead integrated Designer to work within their marketing dept.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Design and production of high quality corporate and creative media communication materials including webpages and html email campaigns, using Adobe Suite software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver
  • Design of technical graphics and data to support planning documentation
  • Production of presentation graphics and other corporate communications materials
  • Develop and produce high impact visual communications (marketing materials, tenders, presentations, exhibition boards and planning documentations)
  • Creation of websites for planning application consultations
  • Creation of HTML email campaigns
  • Creation of GIS catchments and retail reports
  • Creation of websites for planning application consultations
  • Liaise with staff in all three offices to deliver work that is timely, accurate, on brand and on brief
  • Output quality, on time delivery, communications
  • Advise on layout and design to maximise visual impact of presentation graphics
  • Good knowledge of printing processes and design artwork for print
  • Effectively manage your own work flow and capacity
  • Creating interactive CD applications for planning applications
  • Maintenance of Indigo's corporate website
  • Play a major role in shaping the visual corporate brand identity
  • Responsible for high-quality designs, graphics and layouts for both new and existing applications
  • Create, recommend and develop design concept into a finished artistic product for print and multimedia communications including brochures, interactive presentations, displays, email and other marketing materials
  • Support team to understand their design needs and timelines
  • Research and evaluate the availability of cartographic, statistical, aerial photography and other relevant data sets
  • Research and evaluate the tools available for the manipulation, analysis and presentation of geographic information (including aerial photography and other resources)
  • Keep the company informed and up-to-date on the value and usefulness of such resources in relation to the company's business development objectives

Qualifications and Skills

  • High level proficiency in Adobe Suite software - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Dreamweaver (HTML/CSS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Presentation Graphics experience
  • Experience of digital and print production practices
  • Portfolio of work that encompasses and demonstrates capabilities in design, layout, colour appreciation
  • Must be knowledgeable in print production, have strong print skills, from layout to typography
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively use design software


Desired not essential

  • GIS and mapping packages. (Promap, Experian Goad, Experian Retails Planner MMG3)
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe CS along with photographic / video production experience
  • Knowledge of the planning industry
