Head of Customer Marketing - Entertainment
Our client a global online business recently launched a Ticket buying platform, the brand new home for live entertainment where customers can find and discover tickets to music and theatre. The platform made its debut back in 2014 when they started selling theatre tickets to customers and by May 2015 it could offer every ticket to every West End show. They have since expanded their selection to include top music and comedy acts as well as regional and touring shows, launching the new website in December 2015.
The business is now seeking an exceptionally talented Head of Customer Marketing to manage and execute programs across all their properties and channels to acquire new customers. This role will be responsible for defining and executing strategies to acquire customers from their website, email, merchandising placements, search and navigation, mobile & devices and any other areas within the Ecosystem.
Applicants must have demonstrated expertise in digital marketing either from owned channels or from external channels. They must know how to use data to understand behaviours and deliver traffic and conversion at scale. They should be comfortable in defining technical requirements for marketing capabilities, structuring test and learn mechanisms and optimisation of a marketing mix. The role will be responsible for managing an acquisition target and leading a team of marketers to deliver it. They should be commercial and own the sales number for their channels.
Success in this role requires a strong bias for action, and the ability to execute daily at the highest level. Having a strong analytical foundation is required. In addition to executing a variety of programs, the candidate will demonstrate strong organisational ability and requires excellent leadership/management skills.
